Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DistilCalc ("the site", "we", "us"), located at distilcalc.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site.

These terms apply to all visitors and users of DistilCalc. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Description of Service

DistilCalc provides a free suite of online calculators designed to assist home distillers and craft spirits producers with calculations including ABV dilution, sugar wash formulation, fermentation ABV estimation, spirit blending, bottle yield, distillation cuts, proof conversion, vapor temperature, yeast nutrient dosing, and gin botanical scaling.

All calculators are provided free of charge with no registration required. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

Disclaimer of Liability

All calculations provided by DistilCalc are estimates for informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional analysis, laboratory verification, or certified measurement.

DistilCalc makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any calculation result. Actual distillation outcomes depend on variables including equipment design, temperature, ingredient quality, yeast health, and operator technique that cannot be modelled by a calculator.

We accept no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or adverse outcome arising from reliance on results produced by this site, including but not limited to financial loss, product spoilage, regulatory non-compliance, or harm to health.

For legally regulated purposes — including commercial spirit production, excise duty declarations, customs verification, or medical applications — always use certified laboratory analysis and consult qualified professionals.

Legal Compliance — Distillation Laws

Home distillation of alcohol is illegal in many countries and jurisdictions, including but not limited to the United Kingdom, the United States (in most states), Germany, and Australia. It is your sole responsibility to know and comply with the laws of your country, region, and local jurisdiction before distilling.

DistilCalc provides calculators for informational and educational purposes. The availability of these tools does not constitute encouragement, endorsement, or authorisation to engage in distillation activity where it is prohibited by law.

We accept no responsibility for any legal consequences arising from distillation activity undertaken with reference to information or results from this site.
